The queen by tomimt
The queen
This is just a little test render from a little project I'm currently hammering. Modeled and rendered in Blender. Internal renderer.
Leopardwoman by tomimt
Another Leopardwoman originally created by Fletcher Hanks.

I did this to try out the new drawing app I purchased, Clip Studio Paint (or Manga Studio 5 as it's also known as). I must say it feels just right for digital inking, much more so than Photoshop does for an example (and costs a fraction of what PS does). It's no wonder, as Clip Studio is meant for comic books and manga drawing, so they've done a great job at the sketching pencils and inks.

Also what's great about it is, that it has inbuilt 3D character system, that can be used to create posed mannequins. I used that feature in order to get the pose and the angle on her. Simply great stuff.

Done from the ground up in Clip Studio Paint.
Duck With A Pearl Earring by tomimt
Duck With A Pearl Earring
This one I did as a fun, little exercise. Based on Vermeer's Girl With A Pearl Earring and Disney ducks.

Another bard by tomimt
Another bard
This is an older piece, -07 as you can see, so not directly done for the Bard's Tale KS campaign, but I still decided to throw it to the ring. So yeah, inXile BT4 campaign at:…

Inks on A4.
The Bard's Ale by tomimt
The Bard's Ale
Here's a terrible pun, related to the Bard's Tale IV Kickstarter. The logo and the dude on the labe copyrighted to inXile…

Also, this was a good as any excuse for me to give a more serious spin on Cycles render on Blender. A funfact: the ornamented hole on the lute was made with Deluxe Paint II.
This is my huge advertisement blurb.

If anyone is interested, I've thrown a couple of my works to Red Bubble as shirts, throw pillow and phone cover art. So there, if any of those seem like interesting things to have, then go here:…

End of my huge advertisement blurb.

Oh yeah, these are the pieces in my DA gallery I've thrown in Red Bubble as well:

Thanks a lot for the :+fav:'s I really dig your take on Stardust, ever think about doing a story of him?

Thanks. I actually did redraw a page from one the Hanks's orginal Space Smith stories just for fun, but not quite in that style.

I've actually been wondering of an idea of doing "re-adaptations" from Hank's work, each one drawn by a different artist in different style. Perhaps altering the stories a bit in order to make them more cohesive, or just to leave the actual plot and dialog as they are, but altering the panel structure.

Here's my take on Leopard Woman of Venus, a villanous tribe from that said Space Smith story: [link]
